–My Medic Compass ($5.95, Reg. Price $14.95): This compass is lightweight and doesn’t requite batteries so it’s always ready!  It has a mirror for navigation and sending signals plus a declination scale that measures length and distance. It also is dust-proof and water-proof and comes with a microfiber carrying pouch.

–Stansport Water-Resistant Emergency First Aid Kit ($10.99): This kit includes an assortment of 29 first aid and emergency items, including a variety of bandages, medical pads, moleskin and more! The contents come inside of a water tight case and it has an included carabiner for easily attaching to backpack or gear. Super handy and a total must have.

–Klean Freak Antibacterial Body Wipe (~$1): Also super handy!  You never know when you will need this and it’s not you want to be without when you do need it. B will probably toss this in his car along with his first-aid kit – also from Nomadik!

–Noso Patches Snow Camp Patch ($9.99): This match is peel and stick so it’s super easy to apply.  It is also weather resistant and waterproof. You ever know when you will need it, so best to always have it on hand.

–Awake Caffeinated Chocolate Bites (~$2): OMG I love these and had forgotten all about them. They contain 50mg of caffeine which is perfect for an afternoon boost.  LOVE!!!

–Grand Trunk TRUNKTECH Single Hammock ($69.95): TRUNKTECH hammocks are stronger, lighter and more compact than any other 11′ hammock. They are made from a weather-proof fabric and have reflective end-loops for added style & visibility. They come in tons of colors and have a 500lb capacity!

–Grand Trunk – Trunk Straps ($29.95): The hammock above doesn’t include hanging straps, but luckily Nomadik includes a set in this box! I will give you no instructions on how to hang it (that would be incredible unhelpful coming from me), but the instructions say they are compatible with almost any super strong anchor point: tree trunk, vehicle roof rack, porch post, big rocks, boat mast, and more.
–MPOWERED Luci Pro Series Outdoor 2.0 ($49.95): I feel like these are a Nomadik staple. If you subscribe long enough, you will likely receive one. That’s probably because they are so useful. It has cell phone charging capabilities, 150 lumens [135 lumens in moonstone matte finish], and it lasts up to 50 hours on a single charge.  It’s inflatable so it’s easy to pack and store when not in use.

–Klymit Drift Camping Pillow ($54.99): The camping pillow has a durable, easy-to-clean, water resistant outer shell and a comfortable, jersey cotton inner pillow case. SO handy for traveling and making sure you always have a clean pillow!

–Sun Company Camping with Sasquatch Card Game ($18.99): This game is billed as “Rummy meets Slapjack”. It’s lighthearted and family-friendly.  I think what I like best is that it takes two minutes to learn and 15 minutes to play! So it’s not some boring game that will go on for way too long!

–Ursa Major Effortless Essentials Discovery Kit ($15): I love little travel sets like this! This set of clean skincare minis is formulated with powerful active ingredients and no suspect chemicals. It includes super-fresh foaming Fantastic Face Wash, incredibly nourishing yet fast absorbing Golden Hour Recovery Cream and instantly-refreshing Essential Face Wipes. SO handy for traveling!

–UCO Gear Waterproof Matches ($4.99): Again, you never know when you will need something like this. The matches burn even after being soaked in water. So they are ideal for camping, boating, you name it.

–Zealios Sun Barrier SPF45 Sunscreen (10mL) (~$1): Another great item to keep in your car or backpack. Sometimes you just forget your sunscreen and sometimes you just need to apply more. This will have you covered!

–DripDrop Electrolyte Drink Mix (2 pack) (~$2): I think these might be my second favorite electrolyte mix (LiquidIV is my favorite).  They really do work!

–ALOHA Collection’s Small Original Pouch ($34 – Currently on sale for $20.40): I love ALOHA pouches.  I believe the first one I ever received was from a PopSugar Must Have Box (I miss that box so much) and I have loved them since. They are splash-proof, so if you have it next to the pool and your kids are playing, it’s raining bit or if you have a little cocktail spill everything will stay dry inside. Now don’t completely submerge it in water because that’s not going to go well!

–ROAM Minimal Wallet ($12): The ROAM Minimal wallets were designed to be simple yet functional.  It has one main slot that holds cards and cash secure while maintaining its slim feature.  I would clip this inside my backpack just in case something slipped out, but it does seem very secure.

–Light My Fire Pack-Up Cup ($9 – Currently on sale for $4): This cup is collapsible and reusable, but I think the coolest feature is that it has a smart attached lid and measuring lines inside! So not only do you get a drinking cup, but also a measuring tool. SO smart.

–The Humble Co Bamboo Sensitive Brush ($5.59): This brush is made from bamboo instead of plastic and has soft bristles so it’s sensitive on your gums. An extra toothbrush is alway great to have on hand.

–Endurelite Hydrate Elite Electrolyte Drink Mix (~$2): I love LiquidIV, but I am always happy to dry different hydration brands and flavors.  They contain 25 calories and were quite tasty!

–MODL Infinity Tool ($17.50): The idea is to wear this as a bracelet so it’s always with you when you need it. Use it to secure your yoga mat, to hang camping gear or to tether inner tubes together. The sky is the limit!

–Ultima Replenisher Electrolyte Hydration Power ($7.99): I am a LiquidIV lover, but I am always happy to mix it up! Plus, we have had these before and B actually loves them. They absolutely help with hydration and I don’t go a day without a a mix like this.

The battery life ranges from 30 hours on high to 100 hours on low. With batteries this only weights 1.8oz so you won’t even know you have it on.

–Esbit Emergency Stove with Fuel ($12.48): This lightweight emergency allows you to quickly heat up food or drink anywhere. It’s perfect for backpacks or emergency kits because of the small size. Each of the three fuel tablets burn for 12 minutes and up to 1400 degrees Fahrenheit.

–Walrus Oil Logger’s Lip Balm ($3.99): What a great lip balm. The only thing that would make it better would be to have SPF in it.  I also use balms like this for rough spots on my elbows,

–Sun & Swell Foods West Coast Trail Mix Blend ($13): My husband is back from his deployment otherwise I would have sent these in a care package to him. Perfect tasty snacks for on the go.

–Sun & Swell Foods Fruit & Nut Mini Bar Fudge Brownie (~$2.50): I tried this but sadly wasn’t a huge fan of the texture (the texture always gets me). I think it was just too thin? I did think it was very filling though!

–Nose Patrol “Tent” Air Freshener Pine Scent ($5): No one wants a smelly tent! And what better scent to have in your tent than pine? It’s not fake or plasticky smelling as it is made with high-quality essential oils.

–My Medic Blister Mod ($1.45): This is the most inexpensive item in the box, but it’s by far my favorite. Anyone who has ever gotten a blister gets it. This protects blisters you already have any helps to prevent new ones. An essential for all trips!

–Nectar Chucktown Polarized Sunglasses ($49): The Chucktown sunglasses feature polarized lens with a black plastic frame. My husband snatched these up as soon as he saw them!

–Chums Universal Fit Eyewear Retainer – 5mm ($8.99): I never use a band for my sunglasses, but I really should. This will fit not only on the sunglasses included in the box, but on nearly any eyewear frame you own. It’s 100% nylon, lightweight and super easy to use. It’s going to be no one’s fault but my own when I drop my sunglasses because I wasn’t using this.

–Munk pack Keto Granola Bar – Almond Butter Cocoa Chip (~$2): This was actually way better than expected.  Way better. It tasted like an actual granola bar. Maybe even better???

–Vapur Elements 1L Anti-Bottle ($11.99): I appreciate the sleekness and packability of this style of water bottle, but I have never been able to LOVE them. I find cleaning them a bit troublesome (I can never get all the water drops out) and water just doesn’t taste the same to me. Totally a personal preference.

–GEAR AID Cooling Towel ($17.95): This fast-acting Cooling Towel is designed to give you some relief from the heat. Just wet it and place it on your neck and it promises to cool you down for up to two hours.

–Green Goo Solar Goo Sunscreen ($7.99): Solar Goo provides 40 minutes of moisturizing, water-resistant, broad-spectrum SPF 30 protection. The stick form makes it easy to apply to those hard reach / easy to miss spots like ears, lips and part line.  It’s petroleum free, chemical free, oxybenzone free, gluten free, and coral-reef safe — all with only seven all-natural ingredients.

There’s way too much inside to list and I was afraid if I opened it I would never be able to get it all back in the package.  So I have included a picture of everything included in it from their website. My husband plans on leaving this in his truck just in case.

–Live Fire Original Emergency Fire Starter ($9.99): I believe we have received this before and have yet to need to use it, but you know what, you never know. It’s meant for ALL weather conditions and takes a spark easily from a Ferrocerium rod, lighter or match.

–Warrior Ice Instant Cold Pack (~$2): These cold packs are activated by adding water and reach a near-freezing temperature for up to 30 minutes and maintain a therapeutic temperature for nearly an hour. So handy to have around and easy to store.

–AceCamp Packet Wire Saw ($8.95): This is easy to store, lightweight and can be used to cut through trees and firewood.  Another great addition to an emergency kit.

–Karmik Outdoors Hi-Viz Decal ($3.99): This was missing from my package, but since it was a review box I didn’t reach out for a replacement. It’s a decal that you can put on your bag which is scannable in case it gets lost. Would be great for luggage too.

Obviously it’s handy for hiking / camping, but this is also so great for traveling, sporting events (you need this when you are at the field watching your kids play soccer / baseball / football all dat) and more!

–MPOWERED Luci EMRG Solar Lantern ($15.35): We have received this a few times from Nomadik., but they are so neat and handy to have.  It acts as a flashlight, lantern, and emergency light all in one.  It’s inflatable, so it’s easy to store and light to carry.

–Nite Ize Gear Tie Reusable Rubber Twist Ties ($18.85): How did Nomadik know my cords were a mess?  Not anymore!  These neon yellow twist tie cords keep everything neat and organized and will also help you spot your cords in your bag faster.

–Hydralyte Hydration + Energy Electrolyte Powder (~$1.50): Oh this was good!  As you know I am a big LiquidIV fan, but this was almost as good!  It gives you a great hydration boost and it has 100mg of caffeine for an even bigger boost!

I couldn’t get an exact value for the March 2022 Nomadik box. They did a great job with this theme!

–GEAR AID 550 Reflective Paracord – 30′: The 550 Paracord is a 4 mm cordage made of 100% nylon. It can be used it to secure shelter, make a clothesline, or create a survival bracelet.

–Wildland Coffee in a Tea Bag: All you need to do is add water and you’ve got yourself a cup of coffee.  Perfect to have on hand when you are camping!

–Topo Designs Dopp Kit ($34):  My husband has been using this exact same Dopp Kit (in a different color) for years. It still looks basically new and that thing has traveled all over with him.  It’s triangle shape allows it to sit upright and it has a nylon and water-resistant pack cloth liner.  It’s roomy, but not bulky.

–Coalatree Microfiber Hand Towel (~$10): I can’t find this online, but it’s a quick-drying, ultra-absorbent towel that dries up to 10x faster than a normal towel. So handy to have around.

–Ursa Major Morning Mojo Soap (~$5): This energizing soap blend contains peppermint extract to help you get a little pep in your step.  It has a gritty texture and creamy lather and smells great!

The January 2022 Nomadik box had a value of about $50 (I did a lot of estimating on this one). The box may have only had three items, but they were all fantastic.

–Exploria Retractable Roasting Fork (~$10): Uhh, why is this the first I am seeing of this?  A retractable roasting stick!  SO smart!  We have ones that come apart so they aren’t as long and awkward, but this is way better.  It’s easy to use and easy to store. Genius.

–AdventureKEEN So Much S’More to Do Recipe Book ($6.95):  I can get behind this!  We tend to stick with basic s’mores and have really only branched out to replace the chocolate bar with like peanut butter cups and Caramellos.  This book has so many ideas so we can get much more creative.

–Rumpl Beer Blanket ($8):  We love the Rumpl blanket we received last month and now we have a matching koozie or beer blanket if you will. Not into camping?  This will work just as nicely while tailgating (maybe at the MSU-UM game next weekend)!  GO GREEN!

–Revel Gear Trail Hound 30Ft. USB Camping Light ($24.99): Camping, but make it pretty.  Seriously obsessed with these and how magical they could make your camping space look.  They are USB powered and include a dimmer option.

The Fall 2021 Nomadik “MOUNTAIN BOUND” themed box included the following items:

–Rumpl Original Puffy Blanket ($99): Uhh, I am obsessed.  Rumpl is a packable, portable blanket made with 100% recycled materials, making it warmer and more durable than ever.  It weighs just 2.1lbs and unfolds to 52 x 75”.  The best part (for me anyway) is that it has a Cape Clip for hands free use.  YES!  We were in the Smoky Mountains last week and actually considered hiking to a the top of Mt. LeConte and doing some backcountry camping (I’ll do anything for a view).  This blanket would be perfect!

–Ledlenser MH10 Headlamp ($69.95): I am almost 100% sure we have received a headlamp from Nomadik in the past, but nothing as fancy as this.  This is amazing!  It has a 600-lumen output, color filters and features three light modes (plus an energy saving mode).  It comes with a rechargeable battery (it charges via USB) and has a transportation lock so it doesn’t accidentally turn on and drain the battery.  This will come in handy for night hikes, early morning runs and will be awesome for repairs that need light and two hands (I am specifically thinking under our kitchen sink).

–EcoVessel Transit Mug ($24.95): The TRANSIT reusable mug is 12oz and will keep your drinks cold up to 40 hours and hot up to 4 hours. It has a multi-position open/close slider lid, a non-slip silicone base, and an ergonomic handle to make it comfortable to hold.  What’s not to like?

–UCO Gear Survival Firestriker ($9.99): This firestriker can ignite tinder or be used to light a campfire, gas stove or gas barbeque.  It’s good for 3,000 strikes (that’s a lot)!

–GEAR AID Tenacious Tape Wildlife Patches ($9.95): Use these to patch holes or to personalize your water bottle and other gear. No sewing skills or heat required to use these, making them perfect for emergency repairs.

–Kuju Coffee Basecamp Blend Pour Over Coffee (~$4):  My husband has had these before and loved them.  It is not what you think of when you think of instant coffee. It’s easy to make and actually good!

–KeySmart AllTul Shark Multi-Tool ($8.49):  Nomadik has sent a few multi-tools over the years, but none cooler than this Shark!  It acts as a Bottle Opener, a Phillips head, a Flat Head and a Wrench!  It is sleek and won’t add bulk to your keychain.

–Vapur Incognito Flask (300mL) ($5.99):  This flask is lightweight and collapsible.  A great way to take your favorite beverage on the go.

–Oars  + Alps Cooling + Cleansing Wipes (~$2):  Always handy to have around.  They are double-sided and help you stay fresh for every adventure.

~UCO Gear Survival Fire Striker ($9.99):  I have watched enough Naked & Afraid to know that a fire starter is the one item you should bring with you. It can be used to ignite tinder or to light a campfire, gas stove or gas barbeque.  So even if you aren’t a camper or survivalist, having something like this at home in case the power goes out and you want to cook something on your stove isn’t a bad idea.

~Exploria Paracord Survival Bracelet (~$5): This bracelet has a built-in compass, firestriker and emergency whistle.  You’ll be ready for just about anything with this!

~Nature’s Willow Bug Bite Balm ($5.99):   This easy to apply balm is used for the temporary relief of pain and itching associated with insect bites and minor skin irritations.  If you are one of the people that gets attacked my mosquitos (I aam one of them too), you need this.

~Hydralite+ Electrolyte Powder: It’s not Liquid IV, but I am so biased that my opinion doesn’t even matter. LOL!  My husband liked this and felt hydrated more energized.

~Dear Summit Supply Co. Trail Journal ($10): This pocket sized journal allows you to record your hikes, but also aims to get you thinking a little deeper about your surroundings, your thoughts, and more.  Each recording has a different prompt with 28 journaling pages with prompts and 4 for sketches or notes.

~All Good Original SPF15 Lip Balm ($3.50): The final item in the box is an SPF15 lip balm.  It’s is hydrating while also being vegetarian, cruelty-free, paraben free and oxybenzone free.

The December 2020 Nomadik “STORMY WEATHER” themed box included the following items:

~earth*pak Viewpoint Dry Bag (8L) (~$15): The earth*pak Dry Bag is made from with thick, waterproof, and durable 500D PVC fabric to provide protection from abrasion for screens, glass, and other expensive gear. I don’t even think sturdy describes this bag.  It will keep your valuables / clothing dry and safe if you get stuck in the rain or anchor out and want to swim in.

~LUXPRO Universal Tactical LED Flashlight ($7.99):  We have gotten a handful of flashlights in Nomadik boxes over the years but this one is BRIGHT!  For a small flashlight it packs a punch and doesn’t take up too much room in your pack.

~GEAR AID Seam Grip WP Waterproof Sealant and Adhesive ($7.95): This needs to explanation.  It seals up to 12ft of tents, tarps, awnings, etc to keep moisture out.  It will also patch holes in nylon, vinyl, leather and more!

~QuickSurvive 3 Piece Fire Starter (~$3): These will light while wet or frozen and stay lit for up to 10 minutes.

The December 2020 Nomadik box has a value of about $33 plus the value of the poncho (maybe $15?).  Solid value with lots of useful outdoor goodies.

~Klymit Pillow X ($24.95):  This is a compact inflatable pillow. No need to sacrifice comfort with this space saving pillow.  You can adjust the height and the pressure so it is a perfect fit just for you.  When you are done, just deflate and pack away for the night!

~MPOWERED Luci Candle Solar Lantern ($17.95): These pop up in Nomadik on a semi-regular basis.  This one is slightly different, as it is a candle solar lantern, but the general idea is the same.  It is easy to store and provides up to 18 hours of reliable light.

~AdventureKEEN Night Sky Playing Cards ($5.95): I really was not sure about these at first.  I thought they were like cards showing you the constellation? Playing cards are a much better fit for us.  I need to start teaching the kids some card games (like rummy) so we have more games we can all play together.

~Chuao Chocolatier Mini Chocolate Bars (~$2): Ohh, I love this!  I think I first received one in Birchbox years and years ago?  I will occasionally pick one up at Target, but I much prefer the mini ones.  They come in so many flavors – some better than others, but all so fun to try.

The November 2020 Nomadik box has a value of about $51.  This box had a fabulous variety of items and I appreciate this box so much more as I am finding new ways to explore the outdoors this year!

The October 2020 Nomadik “KEEP WARM AND CARRY ON” themed box included the following items:

~Parks Project Stewards & Outfitters Beanie ($28): I am not sure if I have mentioned it on here, but I am on a huge National Parks kick.  I have been researching them, planning visits, you name it.  I want to visit them all! Each collection of quality goods from The Parks Project is made with purpose and helps fund a project in the parks. This hat specifically helps the National Parks Conservation Association engage 1 new park advocate to protect and preserve the national parks.

~United by Blue 12oz Enamel Mug ($20): Love this mug!  I only wish I was using it to drink coffee while sitting in Zion National Park. I’ll have to settle for coffee at home in this until I can get there.

~UCO Gear Mini Firestarting Kit ($5.49): This kit contains 12 rainproof, waterproof Hurricane Matches (with a burn time of 12 seconds each), along with 3 Sweetfire Fire Starters and replaceable strikers.  We may have gotten a kit similar to this in a previous Nomadik, but these are always nice to have.  You really never know!

~Hiker’s Brew Hazy Hiker Venture Pouch ($3.75):You can make this in many ways including a French Press, Drip or Pour Over.  It makes 4 cups of coffee, or one day’s worth if you are my husband ;).

The October 2020 Nomadik box has a value of about $57.  It’s possible this was my favorite Nomadik box to date!  I love that Parks Project hat and the enamel mug so much!!

The September 2020 (*) Nomadik “WINTER TRAVELS” themed box included the following items:

~Topp Designs Pack Bag 5L ($19): The Topp Designs website says that this is a great size for carrying socks, underwear and t-shirts.  At first I was thinking more of a Toiletry Bag, but using it like a packing cube makes much more sense.  Leaving this in the car with fresh socks and undies (you never know) seems like a good idea as well.

~Threads Wallet Elastic Card Holder ($16): Oh how I love these colors! I would love to find some swim trunks like this for my guys!  I think I am going to use this myself for running quick errands so I don’t have to drag my bulky wallet and separate set of keys around.

~Humangear GoToob +3.4oz ($9.32): In theory these are great.  However, once I get home from a trip I never want to retransfer the extra product to it’s original container.  And I don’t have the best luck cleaning it.  Any tips?

~Green Goo Dry Skin Salve – Jumbo Stick ($9.95): This is just what my little one needs right now.  His elbows get SO dry and rough in the winter.

~RXBAR Chocolate Sea Salt Protein Bar (~$2): I wish I liked these!  I don’t know if it’s the texture or if I just haven’t found a great favor, but I am not a fan.

The September 2020 Nomadik box has a value of about $56.  This was a solid box!  Lots of high-quality, usable items in here.

The August Nomadik “WINTER TRAVELS” themed box included the following items:

~Sun Company Versa 360 Rechargeable Headlamp ($24.49):  I will be the first to admit I am not very “outdoorsy” and even I have sometimes found a need for a headlamp.  Sometimes you just need to have both hands free!  This lamp is rechargeable – it includes a USB cable and charges in just 4 hours, and has an assortment of different light settings / strengths to best fit your needs.

~One80Light Light Diffusing Bag:This bag works in conjunction with the headlamp above. The bag allows you to turn the headlamp into a stationary lantern.  It is super easy to use and if you want, can also be used as a storage pouch.

~Night Ize BugLit LED Micro Flashlight ($12.49): This light looks tiny, but it packs a lot of punch.  It has bendable legs that can be wrapped to hold the light in place and provide brightness wherever needed.  In addition to high and low settings, it also features a strobe setting.

~Coghlan’s Reflective Guy Line 25′ ($4.47): This reflective cord will not only hold your gear in place, but also minimizes tripping!

The August 2020 Nomadik box has a value of about $50 ( I am guessing on the value of the light bag).  A solid box full of useful items!

The July 2020 Nomadik “ON THE WATER” themed box included the following items:

~ALOHA Collection Splash-Proof Pouch ($32): I love this!  The pouch is made out of 100% coated tyvek.  It keeps your items safe from splashes, spills, and weather.  It isn’t a bag that can be submerged, but if you toss your wet swimsuit next to it, nothing inside will be harmed.

~earth-pak Waterproof Phone Case ($7.99):  I was THIS CLOSE to buying one of these on Amazon earlier this week and, for whatever reason, just never clicked order.  This fits my giant iPhone perfectly and is perfect for the pool, lake, beach, etc.

~Yumbutter Keto Nut Butter (Macadamia) ($7.50): At first glance I thought this was a single-serve pouch, but them I realized it is a macadamia butter.  Yum!  I love the squeeze tube.  SO easy!

~All Good SPF 50+ Mineral Sunscreen Butter 1oz ($10.99): This is great for those hard to reach places (ears, nose, etc).  It took a minute to rub in, but I would rather have a few white marks on my face than a giant sunburn.

~Carson Floating Wrist Strap ($7.99): So smart!  If you have ever dropped out keys n the lake, pool, etc. you know how much you need this.  You could even connect this to the phone case above so if your phone takes a swim, it will be okay.

I LOVED the July 2020 Nomadik box.  In fact it might be my favorite box over!

The June 2020 Nomadik “CAMP KITCHEN” themed box included the following items:

~Light My Fire GrandPa’s FireGrill ($21.75): The GrandPa’s FireGrill attaches to practically any stick.  It works for fish, burgers veggies, you name it!

~Light My Fire Salt & Pepper Plus BIO: This was listed on the information card, but was not included in my box. Since it was a complimentary review box, I opted NOT to reach out to customer service to obtain the missing item.  I must say, it looks like a cool little gadget and it probably would have been my favorite item in the box.

~To-Go Ware Bamboo Utensil Set: By using this set instead of disposable plastic silverwear, you are saving 1300 sets from being tossed on the trash. WOW!  It is BPA and Phthalate Free and Hand-Finished With A Food-Safe Coating.

~High Side Coffee Single-Serve Brew Bag (2) – Medium & Dark Roast: This is 100% Guatemalan single-serve coffee.  You just drop the bag in hot water and let the magic happen.

All in all, I thought the June 2020 Nomadik was a great box!  It seemed well rounded and fit the theme perfectly.

The May 2020 REDUCE – REUSE – RECYCLE themed Nomadik included the following items:

~LEUS ECO Wash Bag ($24.99): This ECO Wash Bag catches the microfibers that break off your synthetic clothing during the wash cycle.  If we are being honest, I didn’t even know this was a thing.  So not only does this stop micro plastic pollution, it also protects and expands the lifespan of your technical clothing and microfiber towels.  It also makes a great laundry bag while traveling.

~Coalatree Java Socks ($15): These socks are made with recycled coffee ground – for real. Used coffee grounds are mixed and melted with recycled plastic bottles, then extruded into the fibers to make these socks.  How cool is that?  According to their website, the process requires minimal resources and utilizes sustainable technologies such as solar power, gray water recycling, and more.

~United by Blue Packable Tote ($12): This packable tote is made from 100% recycled polyester and has an attached carabiner.  Sometimes packable totes aren’t as easy to repack as they should be, but I tested this one and was able to pack it up perfectly!

All totaled the May 2020 Nomadik had a value of about $52.  I thought this was a fantastic box overall and found everything to be super useful.

~MPOWERED Luci EMRG ($17.95):  I believe we have actually received this in a prior Nomadik box, but that does not make it any less cool.  It is a flashlight, and emergency light all-in-one.  It is also inflatable, waterproof, lightweight, and super durable, making it perfect for travel.

~Ace Camp 11-in-1 MultiTool ($14.95): The AceCamp 11-in-1 Multi-Tool features, knife, saw, scissors, can opener, bottle-opener, Flathead and Phillips screwdrivers, nail file, small pick, thread loop and corkscrew.  What can’t this do really?

~Sun Company Outsider 4-in-1 Survival Tool ($12.99): Whatever the tool above can’t do, this one can.  It is a compass*thermometer*fire started*whistle all in one!  You can snap in on a backpack, your belt loop or even use it on a keychain.  It is lightweight, so again, perfect for hiking and camping.

~Skratch Labs Sour Cherry Energy Chews ($2.45): These chews are delicious! They have 50mg of caffeine per pack (from green tea), so they give you an energy boost, but no crash.

~Skratch Lab sport hydration drink mix (~$1):  You know I am a Spark / Liquid IV girl, but I am always happy to try other similar items. There is no caffeine in this (so it is similar to Liquid IV) , but it did help with hydration and I loved the flavor.

All totaled the April 2020 Nomadik had a value of about $49.  Great value and I loved the mixture of goodies.

The February 2020 QUICK TRIP ESSENTIALS themed Nomadik included the following items:

~Coaltree Nomad Packable Duffle Bag ($24): The package duffle is made from durable reinforced nylon and stuffs into its own pocket for easy travel.  It is lightweight, but sturdy and so perfect for those of us who tend to overpack.  Just tuck this in your suitcase and you are ready!

~Vapur .07L Wide Mouth Anti-Bottle ($9.99):  I just don’t love these.  I love the idea, but they just do not seem to work for me in practice.  I can’t never seem to get them all the way dry.

~Gear Aid 550 Paracord ($6.50): The 550 Paracord is 4 mm cordage made of 100% nylon.  The box included the 30ft. length, but it also comes in a 100ft. length. It has a multitude of uses for camping, backpacking or hunting.

~Gear Aid Camp Carabiner ($10.95): The Camp Carabiner quickly attaches to a 550 paracord (see above) for hanging a lantern, gravity filter, or backpack without knots.  It is strong enough to hold up to 25lbs and swivels 360° for all-around easy access to gear on a line.

All totaled the February 2020 Nomadik had a value of about $52.  Not a bad value and a very well rounded box!

The March 2020 DONT WAIT TO HYDRATE themed Nomadik included the following items:

~Minaret Mtn Thermal Mug ($29): This much holds 12oz of liquid and was made with professional-grade stainless steel. It has special insulation keeps beverages hot up to 12 hours or cold up to 24 hours.  The extra cool part is that it has a double seal lid.  You can put ice in it, but it has a slow flow top so you don’t burn your throat on coffee.

~Mizu Straw Bundle ($4.95):  Ahh, this is perfect.  I hate the feeling of a stainless straw hitting my teeth, but sometimes silicone straws are just too flexible.  This fixes both issues!  And includes a straw cleaner!

~HydraPak Stow 1L Collapsible Water Bottle ($17):  I am usually not a fan of collapsible water bottles, but I love the material of this one. Usually they are a hard plastic, but this one is more of a vinyl material. Super handy and easy to stow.

~HydraLyte Powder Sticks (~$2):  I usually use (AND LOVE) Liquid IV, but I am happy to sub these in a few days.  These powder packets are to be mixed with water and have 75% less sugar and 4x more electrolytes than leading sports drinks. They also dissolve completely, no need to shake or stir. 

~Bottle Bright ($0.67):  I used this on my husbands coffee cup and wow did it make a difference!  I really should have taken a before and after, but I was impressed.
