For those who don’t know and might want some info, the business of Unclaimed Baggage buys tons of lost luggage and left- behind items from the airlines.
They are located in Scottsboro, Alabama physically and have been in business for MANY years.

At one time, they specialized in the weird and the bizarre, but now, anything not considered ” lewd” goes.

    My best buy from there?
A brand new Burberry trench coat with the original wool Nova plaid zip out liner. $100 for a $4000 coat.

How did this happen? UK SIZING!!! Neither the stock person nor the customers realized that UK sizing is one size smaller than US sizing. I saw the coat hanging with the other women’s clothing from all over the world and tried it on. Perfect fit, and I still wear it and it looks just as new 30 years or so later.

I hope someone will get their own Ka- Ching experience either at the physical store or through this sale online. 🙂
At one time, they had TONS of saris that no one around there wanted or needed. Gosh, they were such gorgeous colors, though!!

Jennifer, it was one of the highlights of my entire shopping experiences! I added a cashmere scarf, the rain hat, umbrella and Hunter Wellies but I mostly just wear the coat. I think it is also a tall size, because I am slightly taller than average and it is mid calf length for me. I really don’t recall what the tag reads, but it was BRAND NEW when I bought it. Never worn.

If you live in mid to N. Alabama, I can recommend going to Unclaimed Baggage. If you don’t live near there, Scottsboro is not easy to get to, none of N. Alabama from NW to NE has well laid out major highways and I’d skip it. You can find similar bargains at a North Atlanta suburb line of resale thrift shops. I could actually count them off- 1, 2, 3, 4 and they were popping up all over Roswell and Alpharetta when we left GA.
Genuine Valentino, Versace, Chanel, Louis Vuitton bags ( authentic), and Manolo Blahnik shoes, beautiful Ferragamo lizard sandals that sell for $900 a pair at retail and are SO comfy even with mid high heels, just to start. I will never be back in either GA or AL most likely, and would love to share my secret with you. I learned about the wonderful Stanley 40 oz. tumblers from you and now we have cabinets packed full.
** Did you not like the Art Deco collection? It is my fave, 🙂

Well I will driving through Georgia next week actually!!!! Actually right by Alpharetta……….. Tell me more!

I didn’t buy any of the Art Deco collection! I was tempted so many times though!! Especially by the green!
