White Christmas Trees

I have been wanting a white Christmas tree for years. For whatever reason, I never actually went out and got one. I guess I was afraid it would look dated and out of place in my house. But this year, I decided I wanted to do a “matchy-matchy” tree and a “family” tree. I was at Target one day and saw a cool fake white tree and just went for it! I debated about decorating it with brightly colored ornaments or green and red ornaments. In the end I went with the brightly colored ones. I am hoping to snag some more ornaments in different shapes during the after Christmas sales for a little more variety. Maybe next year I will do something with garland or ribbons or something. We’ll see!

What do you think? Do you have a “theme” tree? And if so, how do you decorate it?

I am not usually a fan of white trees, but I love how you decorated this one and it looks great in your window. We only have one tree. I wanted two but B looked at me like I was crazy. Considering how much trouble we have had keeping Brad out of the one tree, I think B was right.

    This year.

I wondered where the white tree in your photo shoot came from and now I know. It is really pretty and you do an awesome job of decorating you house. I have Lucas and Jennifer Brag Blogs insteads of books.
